Core Compassion Project® relies on the generosity of  donors, sponsors, and volunteers. We recognize that community support is invaluable and are looking for partners to help fight the effects of cancer. There are multiple ways you can partner with us:

  • Sponsor someone you love
  • Monthly autodraft tax-deductible donation
  • Donate an item for our fundraising auction
  • Volunteer

Core Compassion Project® is making a difference physically, mentally and emotionally. Recipients have been so changed physically, emotionally and mentally that often they give back by volunteering at many of the Core Compassion Project® Functions!

Girls Night Out has become an annual event that all of us look forward to. It is an evening full of fun, laughter, ladies & love. All of us have been touched by a cancer diagnosis in some form or another, I have a pink ribbon tattoo on my wrist… it is a matching one to my breast cancer survivor sister Susan’s. It is in honor of her and also a daily reminder to always be grateful for my health, family & faith. Morning Glory is thrilled to be associated with Core Compassion Project®.

Atrium Health-Union/Levine Cancer Institute is so thankful for the Core Compassion Project®. We have recommended multiple ladies battling breast cancer to pursue this program after completing treatment or even during treatment if needed. We are excited that you offer this program. It has benefitted many ladies who need ongoing flexibility and fitness instruction to either regain full motion and strength after treatment or to engage in a lifestyle change to further reduce their risk of reoccurrence of cancer and/or lymphedema. We are truly grateful for this program and its benefit to our community.

As an Affiliate instructor and a volunteer for Core Compassion Project’s “Girls Night Out”, I have witnessed first hand the gift of movement that breast cancer survivors receive.  I have worked with clients that have continued with their Pilates practice after their scholarships have been completed, and I am amazed by the growth in not only flexibility and strength but in their mental and physical well being.  I am blessed to be a part of a project that brings hope and joy to it’s many recipients.

When I first got involved with Core Compassion Project, it was because I wanted to help Jill bring her vision of a nonprofit project for breast cancer survivors to fruition. However, it quickly, became so much more than just helping my friend. Over the five years that I was involved as a volunteer with the project, I had a front row seat to seeing how this project poured into the recipients during one of the scariest times of their lives. For me, seeing how our instructors connected with and encouraged these women, and became one of their greatest cheerleaders, made volunteering that much sweeter.  At our annual Girls’ Night Out event, I had the honor of greeting so many women who attended to show their support and seeing first hand how their support continued to encourage the women who were battling cancer or beginning their recovery journey. Each year, Girls’ Night Out brought with it an immense amount of work, but by night’s end, I would, without a doubt, say that it was worth all the work.  Core Compassion Project, to me, has meant love, encouragement, kindness, giving, and of course, compassion. I am honored to be associated with such a project that truly embodies it’s name – Compassion.
