Tonja Smith
Recipient Advocate
Tonja is a former recipient of Core Compassion Project and now serves as an advocate for CCP recipients. She is a seven year breast cancer survivor, nine year Bilateral BKA and amputation of fingertips both hands, as well as a 12 year stroke survivor. Tonja’s health experiences have made her very aware of the physical and emotional challenges those battling cancer face and is available to help CCP recipients along the way. Tonja has been married for almost 25 years and has three adult sons. She is excited to serve with Core Compassion Project.
