Partner With Us

Core Compassion stands on the shoulders of generous donors and sponsors. We recognize that community support is invaluable and are looking for partners to help fight the effects of cancer. There are multiple ways you can partner with us:

  • Sponsor someone you love
  • Monthly autodraft taxdeductible donation
  • Donate an item for our fundraising auction
  • Volunteer

Core Compassion Project is making a difference in communities across the southeast including North Carolina, Mississippi, Georgia and Tennessee. Scholarship recipients have been so changed physically, emotionally and mentally that they often times invest back into Core Compassion by donating themselves!

As an owner of a small business in Monroe it is an honor to be able to sponsor such a worthy cause of helping women recover from breast cancer.

As an owner of a small business in Monroe it is an honor to be able to sponsor such a worthy cause of helping women recover from breast cancer. Breast cancer has affected family, friends and employees of ours. We appreciate Jill’s vision in the Core Compassion Project to help cancer survivors. The studio has helped me personally become healthier mentally and physically so I know how much this project will help these ladies. We at Monroe Oil Company are proud to be a part of the Core Compassion Project.

I absolutely love sessions with our Core Compassion Project clients! Working with this special clientele brings me a lot of joy, and seeing the progress and increased sense of wellbeing is so rewarding to me as a Pilates instructor.

I absolutely love sessions with our Core Compassion Project clients! Working with this special clientele brings me a lot of joy, and seeing the progress and increased sense of wellbeing is so rewarding to me as a Pilates instructor. After surgery, treatment and reconstruction, the client’s mobility, strength and energy levels are affected. Our goal is to stretch and strengthen the shoulders, chest, back and core to allow for better range of motion and the return to daily activities. This is a stressful and anxious time for most people and if I can reduce those levels by helping them improve their functional ability and quality of life, I have succeeded.

It has become an annual September event here on the farm that all of us look forward to. It is an evening full of fun, laughter, ladies & love. Morning Glory is thrilled to be associated with Core Compassion Project.

All of us have been touched by a cancer diagnosis in some form or another, I have a pink ribbon tattoo on my wrist… it is a matching one to my breast cancer survivor sister Susan’s. It is in honor of her and also a daily reminder to always be grateful for my health, family & faith. So when Jill asked if Morning Glory would host Core Compassion Project’s scholarship fundraiser event, the answer was of course… YES, we would be honored to. It has become an annual September event here on the farm that all of us look forward to. It is an evening full of fun, laughter, ladies & love. Carolinas HealthCare System Union/Levine Cancer Institute Union is so thankful for the Core Compassion Project. We have recommended multiple ladies battling breast cancer to pursue this program after completing treatment or even during treatment if needed. We are excited that you offer this program. It has benefitted many ladies who need ongoing flexibility and fitness instruction to either regain full motion and strength after treatment or to engage in a lifestyle change to further reduce their risk of reoccurrence of cancer and/or lymphedema. We are truly grateful for this program and its benefit to our community.

I am immensely grateful that I was able to provide a ten week program that offers the space to integrate altered appearance and ability, and restore a sense of wholeness and whole body function to allow the client to experience themselves as more than just the areas that cancer had altered.

When Jill began Core Compassion I was so excited to be able to share with other survivors all that Pilates could provide. It is such a special moment when the recipients of this program not only become stronger in body, but also in mind!

In December 2011 I completed my treatment for Breast Cancer. Because I had had lymph node removal as well as radiation my shoulder girdle was very compromised. Prior to moving to the Monroe area in 2009 I had practiced Pilates for six years, so I knew that Pilates could help me regain physical mobility and strength. What I didn’t realize was the mental strength and harmony I would find again.
